Notes/Literature: Huguette Marcelle Clark (1906-2011) was an heiress and philanthropist, who became well known again late in life as a recluse, living in a hospital for more than 20 years while her mansions remained empty. She was an accomplished artist and musician, having studied under famous portrait painter Tadeusz Styka, and her paintings were exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington in 1925

Good, one pagoda form shade with the silk wrapped around the metal on interior having some worn/torn areas (not visible to exterior of shade), overall remarkably well maintained --- *All lots offered in our online only ABC Auctions are packed and moved to a third party storage facility in King of Prussia, PA prior to the sale.
