The Haj by Leon Uris, Franklin Library, Author Signed 1st Edition, 1984.
  • This is the true first edition of the book and precedes the trade edition. The special author’s introduction that is not present in any other editions.
  • The book is hand signed by Leon Uris, the author and features premium hand-cut full leather boards with a cover design in ornate 22-karat gold gild. The spine is hubbed with raised horizontal ridges formed in the leather. There are marbled endpapers with a sewn in matching satin bookmark. The pages are gold gilded to protect against dust and moisture and the paper used is acid neutral to withstand discoloring.
  • The book is FINE - excellent condition and appears to have never been opened. There are no bookplates, markings, or any other signs of previous ownership.
