This beautiful Vintage 1930's Fostoria American Crystal Round Glass Pedestal Cake Plate is in excellent condition. NO chips, flea bites etc. Has the rum well in the center and scalloped edges that go above and below the plate itself. Fostoria was one of the most popular glass patterns of the Depression era. American was Fostoria's most popular pattern and features Art Deco crystal cubes stacked together. This pedestal cake plate is the classic round shape at 7" tall x 10" wide and has great presentation whether it is fill with a cake or pile of cupcakes. The way it is molded it has the old fashioned "brandy well" in the center so you can fill it if you want to keep the cake moist or catch the liquor that was poured over some types of cakes during this era.
