Leon Louis Dolice considered one of the greatest etchers of all time, born in Vienna, Dolice known today for etchings and pastels of New York City scenes. This authors proof is from his 1951-53 final copperplate series of NYC landmarks created before demolition of the Third Avenue Elevated Line. His works are in many museum collections, including the Museum of the City of New York, NY Public Library, NY Historical Society.
