A charming little Egyptian green serpentine amulet of a frog, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, in nice style and much better then these usually come. Amulets such at this one in the form of a frog represent the Egyptian goddess Heqet, an Egyptian goddess of fertility, who is often associated with Hathor. H: 14 mm.
