A lovely Greek painted terracotta figurine of an Erote, c. 3rd - 2nd Century BC, depicting standing nude with soft rounded features, wearing a thickly rolled headband with flowers, left hand on hip wrapped in fabric. Nicely preserved with great style and remnants of pinkish pigment beneath light deposits. A whimsical and very fun piece! H: 2 7/8 in (7.4cm). Nice custom stand. Ex collection of Lawrence Buchanan and Dr. Enrique von Kiguel, formed throughout the 1970's-80's.
