A Pre-Columbian lip plug and earspool. Lot includes a nice ceramic lip plug, c. 200 - 100 BC, with black slip the central medallion adorned with incised geometric devices to either side of a central X. Well preserved with bright yellow, red and blue. 2.2 x 2 cm. The second piece is a lovely ceramic ear spool, c. AD 1100 - 1450, the facing side featuring an open-work image of a monkey within a square, four geometric devices around. Well-preserved with nice glossy black burnished surfaces. Dia: 30 mm.
