A Limoges Vase as Large Bronze Mounted Lamp, c. 1870, Square-Sided Polychromed Porcelain, Pale Blue Maidens in Bas Relief on Two Sides with Moorish Motifs Alternating on the Remaining Sides. Mounted on Bronze Plinth with Four Bearded Grotesques Feet, the top with Five Socket Candelabra with a Central Seated Satyr. Electrified. (DDIS3046)(TC)

Dimensions: the porcelain 17" H, the bronze base to the top of the satyr's head 35", to the top of the faux tapers 40", the bronze base 10" square

Provenance: From a Gustav Stickley home in Colonial Heights, Yonkers, NY

Condition

old hairline cracks at the very bottom of the porcelain where it is fitted into the bronze base, it appears these were repaired and stabilized with a pale putty inside and underneath and visible from under its base
