A South Indian teak wood carved roof bracket from a temple or courtyard house in the form of a rearing Yali with the body of a horse, decorated with scrolling leaf pattern to the shoulder, lion's claws and head of a hybrid lion and elephant, trunk in ending in a floral garland; small elephant wearing a saddle cloth below looking up to the Yali; socket to the top and bottom.
