3rd-1st century BC. A shallow silver bowl with flat centre and flange rim, ring of radiating curved ribs in a whorl pattern. See Godard, F. The Art of Iran, London, 1965. 355 grams, 17cm (6 3/4"). Property of a UK gentleman; previously in an old German collection; acquired before 1990.


Fine condition, some leaching out of copper to the internal surfaces, brushed.
