An undated archaistic hollow-formed gold conical pendant in 1st-3rd century AD style, with domed base, applied filigree and granule detailing to the shaft, filigree collar to each end, granules with ropework collars below,, suspension loop with flanking granules. Cf. Werner, J. Herkuleskeulen und Donar-Amulett, in: Jahrbuch des Römisch-Germanischen Zentralmuseums Mainz 11, 1964, S. 176 ff. 2.90 grams, 39mm (1 1/2"). Property of a European gentleman living in the UK; formerly in a private collection formed in the 1990s.
