Late 19th-early 20th century AD. A gilded silver belt composed of rectangular plates with openwork wire pattern and lozenge to the centre of each panel; each panel connected to the next by a silver disc; buckle in the form of wire work bow with rosette to the centre, red cloth to the back, smaller rosettes to the side; to the bottom silver chains with three pendants to the base. 381 grams, 96cm (37 3/4"). Ex Swiss collection; acquired 1980s.
