An original watercolor painting by McMahon. This painting was part of the Stanley Baker estate. Baker is known for his Railroadiana Collecting Value books. The books are out of date in terms of prices but the information in them is interesting. The Baker estate was moved from the Twin Cities area to Pennsylvania for auction about 8-10 years ago. The painting is of the Great Northern Railway "Empire Builder" with a green "Glacier" locomotive on the front of this iconic passenger name train. It is also dated 1961. The style is very square with crisp lines. The Baker estate had a few paintings by this artist.
