Artist: Augustus Guy de Vaudricourt (French, active in mid 1800s), color lithograph entitled "The Plaza and Church of El Paso", ca. 1857 CE, lithographer: Sarony, Major & Knapp of New York. French artist Augustus Guy de Vaudricourt is best known for his contributions to the Report on the United States and Mexican Boundary Survey of 1848 to 1855. The report was published in 1857. Other members of the survey team included John E. Weyss - a topographer - and Arthur C.V. Schott - a geologist and naturalist who made numerous illustrations for the report as well.
