Europe, late Medieval, proto-Renaissance period, ca. 15th century CE. An elegant, simple silver ring with a diamond-shaped face and a very low relief cross on it. The shoulders of the band has a series of very narrow vertical lines surrounding the face and then a horizontal stippled line around the rest of the band.Size: 0.9" W (2.3 cm); US Size: 8.75; 2.1 grams

Provenance: private L.S. Farrow collection, Colchester Borough, UK, acquired between the late 1970s and early 1980s
