having a spreadwing eagle finial above the openwork case carved to show rocaille, flowers and fruit and centered with a circular enameled dial with Roman numeral hours and Arabic numeral minutes, signed William Smith/ London.

Property from a Midwestern Collection

In overall good, stable, complete condition. Case with fairly even gilt finish, some minor surface wear (nicks and scratches), one wing with crack and likely repair. Glass for dial intact. Works appear complete, time only, runs, unsure as to duration or accuracy.
