18th century English Georgian Sterling Silver Chinoisserie decorated tea caddy with China man finial. Coat of Arms crest. London 1782-3. Makers mark unknown. 4-1/" wide, 5-3/4" high. 15.3 ozt.

Condition

The lid is marked with a lion and maker's mark inside. Nut is not marked where visible. Possibly part of the hallmark is on the figure. Finial and nut appear to be originals. Did not take apart to see if marks are hidden. Condition: Cover is slightly sprung. One bottom corner slightly crimped. Back bottom edge seam is separated from body near middle to end about 2.5", and slightly pushed in. Overall appears visually good, in in need to slight repair.
