Blue silk blouse with long sleeve having a band collar, cuff and bodice trimmed in ecru lace, dorset buttons, B-36; a fine cream wool jacket decorated with matching blue silk bands and lace, B-38; slightly trained blue silk taffeta petticoat, the lower half decorated with seven bands of pinked scallops, W-24, L-40-45. DLM acquired these garments from M. Deane by way of Mrs. Cook (niece of Harriet Giltrap) who was given or inherited them from Giltrap, dresser to Queen Alexandra. (The blouse has large stains lower front, jacket has scattered holes and spots, few stains on the lace) fair; (petticoat has few tiny holes, scattered minor spots) good. Together with two pair of Queen Alexandra's black silk stockings, one pair with clocks and white sole, the top marked "M. F.", the other with lower lace pattern marked "McCreery", (glue or nail polish repair to one), together with a black and white signed photograph from Queen Alexandra.
