Both cream wool trimmed with cream silk braid and looped cord: One having 3/4 sleeve, faux waistcoat front and cuff with fancy macramé, metallic cord, and crocheted barrel buttons, B-34, L-19. (Some soil, two small moth holes, dotted silk lining shattered). One having long sleeve with mother-of-pearl buttons, back peplum with satin half-belt , B-36, L-24. (Red stains on sleeves, the satin belt is splitting). Both labeled "Vernon 191.192. Sloane St. London.S.W." DLM acquired these garments from M. Deane by way of Mrs. Cook (niece of Harriet Giltrap) who was given them or inherited them from Giltrap, dresser to Queen Alexandra. Good.
