A higher quality Balkan flintlock musket possibly of the Italian origin made for Albanian market under the Ottoman Empire. The breech part of the barrel has the following stylized European writing: "A PEDRETT". Lock plate is stroked with maker's markings and date. The stock is mounted in hammered brass decorated with corals and silver rosette. The flintlock is decorated with engraving. Good action.
