1) SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1903 MARK I. Cal. 30-06. S# 1105680. Uncheckered sporter stock w/ rollover Monte Carlo cheekpiece & teardrop shaped rosewood grip cap. QD sling studs & Pachmayr pad. Gloss blue finish w/ custom bolt handle & engine turning on bolt body, extractor & follower. Hinged trigger guard assembly w/ push button release inside guard. Cocking piece shortened for streamlined appearance & quicker lock time. 24" Bbl. w/ Williams Streamline ramp front sight having Redfield sourdough blade, rear of bbl. drilled & tapped for sight mount plus action w/ Weaver bases installed. Glass bedded action, no trigger assembly. CONDITION: very good overall appearance w/ numerous light handling marks on stock set. Evidence of light prior pitting to trigger guard assembly & some prior stamping partially visible on bbl. Military finished safety. Good to very good bore w/ hint of frosting & light wear. (18-179/NW). 2) WINCHESTER MODEL 1917. Cal. 375 H&H Mag. S# 92198. Work in progress w/ 23" sporter weight bbl., glass bedded recoil lug & floating bbl. Rear of receiver filled & sporter contoured. Attached Redfield scope base w/ built in receiver sight. Plain walnut stock w/ metal grip cap & solid pad. Forend cut square for addition of decorative tip. Unusual cheek pad plus QD sling studs. Straight floorplate assembly plus receiver rails altered for mag. cal. CONDITION: overall fair needing completion w/ near excellent bore. Stripped action missing all parts including bolt. Bbl. blued over milled surfaces. Floorplate assembly has shaped trigger guard & floorplate blued over slight pitting. Missing mag. box but includes follower & spring. (18-247/NW). 3) SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1903. Cal. 30-06. S# 34303. Early action w/ Remington 2-44 bbl. Receiver drilled & tapped for scope bases as is bbl. at proper 7.2" spacing for target blocks. Left side of bbl. near block position marked "YA63". Military floorplate w/ sporter reshaped trigger guard. Sporter configured bolt handle & Timney Sportsman trigger. Checkered sporter stock w/ corresponding wood tip & solid Pachmayr pad. QD sling stud at rear, missing front. Nice wrap around checkering on forend; 2 panels at grip. Very good basis for continued sporterizing w/ military finish on all components needing polishing & final finish. CONDITION: good overall appearance w/ numerous light to medium scratches on stock set yet not appreciably in checking area. Most dents confined to front of grip area. Front receiver bridge w/ marks of spot annealing. Trigger guard rough shaped. Near excellent new appearing bore. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Dennis "Denny" Lundmark. (18-265/NW).
