Half length walnut stock w/ coarse checkering on forearm. LOP: 12 3/8" over steel buttplate. Brass tipped hickory ramrod held by 2 plain iron pipes. Weight: 3 lbs., 11.4 oz. CONDITION: bbl. finish has faded to brown w/ pitting in breech area. Stock shows scratches & marks. Dark deeply pitted bore. (01-14741/DS). 2) THOMPSON CENTER NEW ENGLANDER PERCUSSION RIFLE. Cal. 50. S# 88811. Bbl. 26". Color case hardened lock & hammer. Blued bbl. & trigger guard. Adjustable rear sight w/ dovetail front. Uncheckered high grade walnut stock w/ hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: bbl. retains almost all original deep dark blue w/ 1 discolored spot on top right of bbl. Nipple & surrounding metal show moderate oxidation. Oxidized bore w/ pitting throughout.
