An early 20th century gold peridot and imitation pearl insect brooch. The circular-shape peridot body, with imitation split pearl wings. Length 4.8cms. Weight 2.2gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One replacement split pearl.
  • Stamped 9ct.
  • Imitation pearls are a slightly yellowish cream colour.
  • Split pearl replacement appears darker.
  • Peridots in good condition with minor abrasions.
  • Length of insect 1.9cms.
