An Edwardian 18ct gold opal and diamond ring. The oval-shape opal cabochon line, with rose-cut diamond double spacers. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1907. Ring size M1/2. Weight 3.4gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Claws worn.
  • Opals slightly loose in mount.
  • Band slightly out of shape.
  • Diamonds well matched and fairly bright.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight, colour or clarity estimation.
  • Opals in fair to good condition with some abrasion and small nicks.
