An early 20th century gem-set brooch. The circular-shape ruby and sapphire hearts, with rose-cut diamond stylised wings and ribbon surmount. Length 4cms.

Condition

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Electronically tests predominantly as silver.
  • With replacement gemstones.
  • Few small file marks.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with small scattered inclusions.
  • All coloured stones in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
