A late Victorian gold turquoise, diamond and split pearl pendant. Of openwork and circular design, the old-cut diamond, with circular turquoise cabochon tapered cross and split pearl surround. Estimated diamond weight 0.15ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Length 2.8cms. Weight 5.7gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • With possible replacement gems, some claws worn/deficient.
  • Diamond is bright and lively.

  • Diamond with few small inclusions.
  • Turquoise are fairly well matched, greenish-blue, in good to fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles to the surfaces.

  • Split pearls are fairly well matched, creamy white colour with pinkish green hues, in good condition with minor abrasions to the surfaces.
