Details: Charles Ringling Signed RARE ANTIQUE RINGLING BROS CIRCUS ARTIST'S CONTRACT 1915 Mary Kiley Circus Performer Ballet Dancer Collectible Circus Ephemera

This 1915 Ringling Brothers Artist's Contract is signed by Charles Ringling. One of the 5 Ringling brothers who helped found what would become the most famous circus in the United States, Charles Edward Ringling (December 2, 1863 - December 3, 1926) produced some of the circus's first shows in the early 20th century. In the contract, a performer by the name of Mary Kiley agrees to "Dance in ballet, go in spectacle, tournament, parade, etc." for the 1916 season of the Ringling Bros Circus in exchange for $8.00 a week.
