This group features 3 matted and framed pages from a 1798 text entitled "Geography Made Easy" by Jedidiah Morse. One frame contains the title page of the book and a map of the North American Hemisphere and the other frame features a map of the world as it was understood in 1798. Both frames measure approximately 12" x 9.25".
The full title of the text reads: "Geography Made Easy: Being an Abridgment of the American Universal Geography Containing Astronomical Geography; Discovery and General Description of America; General View of the United States; Particular Accounts of the United States of America and of All the Kingdoms, States and Republics in the Known World, in Regard to Their Boundaries, Extent, Rivers, Lakes, Mountains, Productions, Population, Character, Government, Trade, Manufactures, Curiosities, History, &c.
