This piece is from a series titled “The Human” painted in 1968 and 1969, and comes from the collection of Prince Lorenzo de’ Medici. The series is a series of mixed media paintings, depicting a simple man and the human emotion that is fear. The series tells a story of men fearful of war and fearful of massacres, including the fear of the Nuclear War in 1968.
