STEUBEN CATHEDRAL ETCHED AND ENGRAVED ART GLASS CRYSTAL SCULPTURE, colorless lead glass, obelisk form depicting three columns with the apostles being incorporated within gothic-style columns, decoration continues into a gothic spire, signed "STEUBEN". Fitted with the original wooden base and comes with the original box. Steuben Glass Works, designed by George Thompson. Circa 1955. 16" HOA (in stand), 3" DOA obelisk, 6" DOA base.
Glass undamaged, wooden base with some chipping to the finish and lacking most of the original felt. Box with red material having been lost to one corner exposing the wood, wood having been chipped as well, other scattered wear/flaking to the exterior; box interior in very good condition with some wear/openings in the top lining. Box with a musty odor.
