ACID CUT BACK CAMEO-TYPE FLORAL PEG LAMP, green cut to colorless pyriform font, daisy-like flowers cut to a textured pattern, dark to light emerald green panel-optic cylinder-form shade with satin finish and acid-etched floral pattern, scalloped rim, period brass collar. Peg with brass sleeve. Fitted with a period Argand-style slip burner marked for Hugo Schneider, Leipzig. Non-period colorless chimney. Fitted in brass baluster-form candlestick with push-up mechanism and circular-form lightly stepped base. Late 19th/early 20th century. 13 3/4" H to top of collar, font 3 3/4" H to top of collar, 3 1/2" D. Shade 4 1/4" H, 2 1/4" D fitter.
Font undamaged, shade with an approximate 1" crack off rim, fitter with two small sliver chips which do not affect the profile. Burner and chimney undamaged. Candlestick base with some light denting.
