KUNISADA UTAGAWA / TOYOKUNI III (JAPANESE, 1786-1844) UKIYO-E WOODBLOCK PRINTS, LOT OF THREE, comprising an actor print featuring a bust-length depiction a kabuki theatre actor, with double nanushi censor seals, oval zodiacal date seal, and publisher's seal most likely for Koga-ya Katsugoro, an example depicting a seated female figure with tea ceremony articles, with double nanushi censor seals, and publisher's seal for Fujiokaya Keijiro, and an example depicting a kneeling female figure holding a staff or spear, with double nanushi censor seals, and publisher's seal for Sano-ya Kihei; each signed in part "Toyokuni ga". Unframed. Mid 19th century. 13 7/8" x 9 5/8" and 14" x 10" OA.
Good condition overall, expected toning and some staining, heavier to the third example, each with some minor losses, including possible worm damage, the third example with a repaired tear above figure.
