JAPANESE CLOISONNE VASES, LOT OF FOUR, including an example in Aesthetic Movement style, with polychrome scrolling floral and foliate design, and flecks of aventurine throughout, a barrel-form example, possibly a brush pot, with stylized floral and foliate design, including cherry blossoms, within a black ground, and a panelled example with squared shoulder and circular foot, with polychrome decoration, including kites or fans, within black ground; the first two with enameled underside, each unmarked. Second half 19th/early 20th century. Vases 6" to 10" H, barrel-form example 5 1/8" H, 4 1/2" D rim.
Excellent condition overall, expected minor wear, panelled example with some minute losses to surface, possibly some early restoration, barrel-form example and undescribed example with some minor dents or compression.
