I. DENEVERS" with star punctuation, partially legible marks, appearing to be French hallmarks, including male profile in hexagon with numeral "1", most likely for .950 fineness, maker's mark "J" over "CARLIER" with heart, all within diamond. Total weight: 3.42 ozt. Late 18th/first half 19th century. 2 5/8" and 3" D rims.
