P. Harding del. 1811" lower left (obscured by present matte), subject identified on backing board as Jemima Crew, Countess of Sandwich (1625-1674). Housed under glass in a 19th-century inlaid mahogany frame. 1811. 3 1/2" x 3" sight, 6 1/2" x 5 1/8" OA.
Portrait (laid down on cardstock) in very good condition with minor toning, extreme corners trimmed to accommodate placement in current frame (not visible under matte). Frame excellent with minor wear.
