AMERICAN ETRUSCAN MAJOLICA CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising one creamer with molded coral and seaweed designs on sides and handle, a teapot and spoon holder with molded bamboo designs on sides, and four plates. All with "ETRUSCAN / MAJOLICA" impressed on base within a circle and with "GSH" logo on interior of circle. Griffen, Smith & Hill, Etruscan Majolica, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. 1879-1892. Plates 7" and 9" D.
Creamer and one plate undamaged, three plates with one hairline each and heavy crazing, spoon holder with one bruise and one small area of glaze loss on interior of rim, teapot with areas of damage, hairlines, and overpaint.
Provenance: From an Illinois estate.
