JAPANESE IMARI PORCELAIN ARTICLES, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising two tea bowls/beakers, one large dish/charger, one bowl, one vase, and two vases/jars (lacking covers), all having polychrome decorations and gilding. Unmarked. Late 17th/18th century. Vases/jars 6 1/2" to 8 1/2" H.
One tea bowl undamaged, one tea bowl with small chip on foot, both vases/jars with restoration on rims, vase with one hairline on base and two hairlines on side near base, bowl and dish/charger with restoration. Rim of vase with one area of roughness likely from manufacturing.
Provenance: De-accessioned from the Reeves Collection, Washington and Lee University, and sold to benefit the Acquisitions Fund for all of the material.

Condition
