AUSTRIAN ROYAL VIENNA MONUMENTAL PORCELAIN BOLTED PALACE URN WITH COVER, cobalt blue with extensive gilding, in four sections, the urn with coiled serpent handles and featuring two hand-painted reserves, one of Perseus rescuing Andromeda, the other with a Satyr presenting a harvest to two bare-breasted females with angel looking on, the socle base also hand-painted with two allegorical scenes, original cover. Over-glaze blue beehive mark under base. The base is secured with bolt, urn sits on metal pin rising from the base, but is not secured with nut. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 37" HOA, 11 3/8" D base.
