13th-6th century BC. A bronze dagger or dirk with parallel-sided blade, broad midrib, lower guard with flange shoulders and grip, T-shaped finial. See Khorasani, M.M. Arms and Armour from Iran. The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period, Tübingen, 2006 for discussion. 200 grams, 44cm (17"). Acquired on the London art market prior to 1980.
