Eocene Period, 55-33 million years BP. A group of three rare unclassified agatized Dicotaledon cone specimens clearly showing the external structures. 48 grams total, 4-5cm (1 1/2 - 2"). From an old Bristol paleontological collection; acquired 1950s-1960s; from the Western Sahara Desert, Morocco. These are a new species from the old that have been recently discovered.
