Ancient Near East, Holy Land, Iron Age, ca. 8th to 5th century BCE. A coarse fired red pottery jar with a pronounced, round foot, a bulging body, and a rolled out rim. Four lugged handles project from the sides of the jar, curving from the lower part of the neck to the shoulder. Size: 12.1" W x 6.7" H (30.7 cm x 17 cm)

Provenance: private Orange County, California, USA collection acquired before 2000
