**Originally Listed At $100**
Guatemala, early 20th century CE. A very attractive wooden slingshot (ondilla) in the form of a parrot. The avian figure is "standing" upon an elongated tail with its feet tucked under its bulbous body, with wings folded at its sides and stylized feathers across its back and chest. A rounded protruding bead, circular incised eyes, a rounded head, and a six-pronged sling mount comprise the fine details of this well-worn hunting instrument. Size: 1.25" L x 1" W x 5.25" H (3.2 cm x 2.5 cm x 13.3 cm); 5.875" H (14.9 cm) on included custom stand.
