This Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Wood Bottle Whiskey Transport crate from the 1980s held 4 bottles of Jack. Research says that the item was acquired in the 1980s from the Jack Daniel's distillery in Tennessee. As for some background on this item, it could be purchased from the Jack Daniel's Distillery Gift shop after taking a tour in the 1980’s, which is over 30 years ago. It was called the Volunteer Chest and came with a certificate that told the history of the Volunteers (comes with the certificate) This is from the 1980s and is in good condition, but not mint by any means. Measures Outside dim: 12 ½ “ h x 13 ¾” w x 8 ½” d- Inside dim: 11”h x 11”w x 7.5”d- Weight: 6 lbs. These were made from scrap wood from the barrels and were meant to look like they do. The brand and logos are visible.
