Interesting Obligation bond dated 1796 whereby Nathaniel Massie of Hamilton in the Territory of Ohio is bound to Jameson of Kentucky for the sum of Three Hundred dollars. Massie who signs, was a noted frontiersman and surveyor of the period, Witness are William Rogers and Thomas Kincaid. Very Good, measures 7 x 8”. “An Act for the More Effectual bringing to Justice any persons concerned in the barbarous murther of Captain John Porteus”, passed 1736 during the reign of King George II and printed 1737 by John Baskett, London. Complete including decorative cover leaf. Fine condition, measures 8 x 12”.
