Europa was the daughter of Agenor, King of Tyre.
Zeus fell in love with Europa. Taking the form of a beautiful white bull he wandered among the herds that Hermes had driven down to the seashore where Europa was playing. .
Meissen cross swords under glaze as well as model number 2697.
Height 8 1/4 inches.
