American Rococo Revival Carved Rosewood Settee, 19th c., possibly New Orleans, with a serpentine pierced floral carved crest over an upholstered back, arms and bowed seat, on cabriole legs with toupie feet, on casters, H.- 40 in., W.- 71 3/4 in., D.- 38 in.
The finish shows signs of wear. The top left crest is now lacking the floral carving and the central floral carving has a separation crack. The upholstery has two stains on the left and one stain on the right. The upholstery on the seat has sporadic small ½” dot stains. The skirt is missing one scroll decoration. A finely carved example.
