Southeast Asia, Thailand, ca. 19th century CE. Two stunning bronze Buddha heads with finely contoured faces, down-turned almond-shaped eyes, arched brows, relatively naturalistic noses, closed mouths with full lips presenting a gentle smile, and characteristically elongated earlobes - all crowned by a head of tightly wound curls with a flaming ushnisha emerging from the top of the head. A wonderful example! Gorgeous dark patina. Size: larger Buddha head measures 5.375" H (13.7 cm); 7.375" H (18.7 cm) on included custom stand.
