George W. Bellows (American, 1882-1925) Two Lithographs. 'Solitude' and 'Lady with a Fan' dated to 1917 and 1921, respectively. The first is pencil signed lower right, titled, and numbered 'No. 3', from the edition of 60; the second is pencil signed lower right, titled, and inscribed 'Bolton Brown Imp.', from the edition of 63, unframed Larger: 17" x 15.25"

Condition

Solitude: The sheet is backed with thin mulberry paper. It is slightly darker within the mat opening. The lower margin is fragmentary, affecting the signature. There is an abrasion in the center of the right margin. Lady with a Fan: on chine volant. There are losses and tears in the margins. The tear at right goes to the image. the sheet is cockled overall
