This particular saxophone is engraved three times, "RV" on horn, "Rudy Vallee" on the side, and on the front band, "Bennie Krueger". Apparently, this saxophone was owned by Krueger and was either given to or purchased by Rudy Vallee. Krueger was an American jazz saxophonist who had the distinction of being one of the first jazz sax players to record music with the Original Dixieland Jazz Band. Krueger also played at various times with Rudy Vallee. Saxophone is complete with two mouth pieces but has no reed. Serial Number 55149.

Please note: This saxophone appears to be one of the series made by Buescher for Selmer.

Dimensions are: 27 3/8" tall, 15" deep with mouthpiece. All measurements are approximate.

Provenance: From the estate of Eleanor & Rudy Vallee.
