A LALIQUE CLEAR AND FROSTED GLASS "TÊTE D'AIGLE," EAGLE HOOD ORNAMENT, SIGNED, MID 20TH CENTURY, the clear crystal press molded paperweight of stylized eagle head and neck design with the eyes, sides of the beak, and tips of the feathers on the top of the head, with frosted details, the neck with frosting only to the sides and background of the feathers, raised on a clear thick disc form base, with molded "RLALIQUE" mark on the lower right hand side, and engraved "Lalique France" mark on the bottom, Marchillac no. 1138, with modern circular stained wood plinth. One of the head feathers with minor chip to the end, beak with a very small chip of the tip, minor rubbing to frosted finish, an inclusion on the top of the head, minor chips along bottom beveled edge of the base.
